Hey all,

First post, wooo!

Anyway, I have JHM lightweight rotors, JHM solid shift kit, and APR chip.  APR intake and catback on the way. I'm also getting my chrome done in black to replicate the "titanium" look found on the b7 rs4s.

speaking of dirt and filth, do you guys still wash your cars in winter or bring them to the car washes?

Hand wash for me - never an autowash... but I'm picky...  and a detailer  ;)

The problem with "touch" washes are self-evident.   The problem with touchless washes is that the chemicals used in the "soaps" (think benzene and other harsh chems), while essentially pH-neutral and not particularly damaging to paint finishes, aren't all that appealing to breathe, and will strip all wax protection you may have on the car right off.

I wash at home on weekends when the driveway can dry and not be a sheet of ice the next morning..

Or I go to my grandma's apartment and use their wash bay.  :)

If you want to wash it in a wash bay.. there's always the one on Royal Oak near Imperial in Burnaby.. and the one on Lougheed near North Road.
